The Worship Ministry Group is responsible for the worship services and works on issues such as music, audio, altar, flowers, ushers, drama, readings, etc.
The Education Ministry Group develops and supervises the Lake Oconee Community Church's educational programs for both adults and children and is responsible for expanding these programs to meet the needs of a growing membership.
The Missions and Benevolence Ministry Group identifies and recommends to the membership worthy Christian and humanitarian causes for the Lake Oconee Community Church's support as well as denominational/organizational affiliations; and prepares and manages the annual mission/benevolence budget.
The Stewardship Ministry Group prepares the annual operating budget. Through the Treasurer, the Stewardship Ministry Group reviews all activities which involve income and expenses and makes regular reports of all financial information.
The activities of the Message and Awareness Ministry Group center on outreach programs for the growth of Lake Oconee Community Church.
The Newcomers and Membership Ministry Group develops and implements programs to provide a prompt welcoming to all church newcomers and helps with their assimilation into church membership. This ministry group will develop strategies and oversee creation and implementation of programs for the pastoral care of the membership and others whenever the need arises.
The Activities Ministry Group is responsible for planning and producing special Lake Oconee Community Church activities and events other than worship, such as picnics and a supper club.
